The Costa Daurada resort adds a new award to its track record at the ACSI Awards, after having been recognized in previous years as Best Campsite in Spain (2023) and Campsite with the Best Location in Spain (2024).
Playa Montroig Camping Resort has been awarded “Campsite with the Best Sanitary Facilities in Spain” at the ACSI Awards 2026, a recognition granted based on the ratings of European campers. The award was presented last night during the Gala dels Càmpings Catalans, held in La Seu d’Urgell and organized by the Federació Catalana de Campings.
In the camping sector, sanitary facilities represent one of the most decisive elements in the perception of quality of a campsite and are, in fact, one of the factors most valued by campers. In the case of Playa Montroig Camping Resort, the sanitary areas stand out for their spaciousness and continuous cleaning throughout the day using eco-friendly products. The resort features modern, accessible and adapted sanitary blocks designed for the whole family, including specific areas for children that allow independent use, a particularly relevant aspect in a destination oriented towards family tourism.
This new award reaffirms the resort’s positioning as one of the best campsites in the country and across the continent, and further strengthens its track record within the ACSI Awards, where it had already been recognized in 2023 as Best Campsite in Spain and in 2024 as Campsite with the Best Location in Spain. A trajectory that reflects the constant appreciation of guests in key aspects of the camping experience, from the surroundings to essential services.
ACSI (Auto Camper Service International) is a Dutch company specialized in the collection and evaluation of campsites throughout Europe. Its annual awards are based exclusively on user ratings, making them one of the most representative indicators of the opinion of European campers.
